Our Story
The name Wick & Still is rooted in our dual inspirations. The wick speaks to the flame – the source of light, warmth, and ritual. The still reflects both worlds: the copper vessels in which fine spirits are born, and the stillness that a candle brings when it flickers into life. Together, they embody our ethos: a marriage of craft and calm, indulgence and intimacy.
The Founder
From an early age, I was captivated by the quiet ritual of lighting a candle — the way a single flame could transform a room, shift its energy, and soften the edges of the day. That simple act of illumination became, for me, an unspoken language of comfort and atmosphere.
My professional life, however, was shaped by a different craft: the world of fine spirits and cocktails. Over years of creating and curating award-winning hospitality and retail experiences, I honed the art of nosing, blending, and presenting drinks that stirred not only the palate but also the emotions of those who enjoyed them.
It was inevitable that these two passions — the ritual of scent and the art of spirits — would converge. What began as a personal project, making candles for friends and family, soon revealed itself to be something greater. Their delight, and the demand for more, confirmed what I had always felt: there was room for a candle brand unlike any other. And so, Wick & Still was born.
Craftsmanship

At Wick & Still, we craft with a carefully considered blend of rapeseed, coconut, and a touch of beeswax — a sustainable, natural composition chosen not only for its eco-credentials but for the purity of its burn. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches, with wicks, waxes, and oils selected and tested to achieve harmony between flame and fragrance. The result is not just a candle, but an atmosphere: a sensory composition that elevates every moment.
